Runbeck Election Services Names Bill O'Neill to Lead Ballot-on-Demand Business

Tempe, Ariz. [May 20, 2009] – Runbeck Election Services, a leading provider of elections solutions, today announced it has named Bill O'Neill as Vice President Sentio Operations, effective immediately. O'Neill will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, sales and support of Runbeck's popular Sentio Ballot Printing System.

O'Neill joins Runbeck Elections Services from Shamrock Associates in El Dorado, Calif., where he was president and senior consultant. In that role he managed voting system and vendor selection, contract negotiations, and system integration for fourteen California counties and other government entities.

"Bill is a recognized leader in the elections industry having worked with a wide range of customers on numerous elections projects over the years," said Kevin Runbeck, chief executive officer of Runbeck Election Services. "He is particularly adept at integrating new technology into existing systems which makes him a natural fit to lead our Sentio business line."

O'Neill, a Certified Project Management Professional, has been a software developer, technology project manager and business consultant for more than 17 years. He has worked with many state and federal agencies over that time, including CalTrans, the California State Teachers' Retirement System and the U.S. Department of Energy among others.

His most significant project at Shamrock Associates involved the management and implementation of a new voting system for California's Sacramento County. Over the past five years O'Neill worked with more than 15 counties in two states to help select, procure, and implement voting systems, as well as establish new business processes and develop storage and distribution plans.
